A TIRE CHANGE REFERS TO THE PROCESS OF CHANGING TIRES ON A VEHICLE TO USE EITHER WINTER OR SUMMER TIRES OR TO REPLACE DAMAGED OR WORN TIRES.

THIS PROCESS SHOULD BE PERFORMED BY THE PROFESSIONAL ON A REGULAR BASIS TO ENSURE THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING SAFELY AND EFFICIENTLY.

Tire changes are ideally performed by professionals in workshops or tire shops who have the necessary equipment and know-how to do the job safely and effectively. It’s best if you come directly to our workshop.

Changing a tire involves raising the vehicle’s wheels and loosening the wheel nuts to remove the wheel from the vehicle. The old tire is pulled off the wheel and the new tire is fitted onto the wheel. The wheel is then placed back on the vehicle and the wheel nuts are tightened to ensure the wheel is securely fastened.
It is important that the lug nuts are tightened to the correct torque to ensure the wheel is securely fastened.
Check the screw connection again after approx. 50 km and retighten the screws if necessary.

Tip – swap wheels every 8,000 to 10,000 kilometers at the latest, i.e. swap the right front wheel for the right rear, etc. This is how you prevent different levels of wear and tear.
In the case of tires with different remaining tread depths, those with the greater tread depth always belong on the rear axle.

CHANGING TIRES REGULARLY AND USING THE RIGHT TIRES FOR THE SEASON AND DRIVING CONDITIONS CAN HELP IMPROVE VEHICLE SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY, AND EXTEND TIRE LIFE.
